What to do:

Place slivered almonds in a small saucepan.

Have an adult turn the stove on to Medium heat and stir the mixture continuously until all of the sugar has melted.

Quickly pour the nuts onto a large plate and spread them out so they do not stick together.

Have an adult thinly slice the green onion and strawberries.

In a large bowl, place the mixed greens, onion, feta cheese, strawberries and candied nuts.

Toss salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
