A delicious summer snack or dessert that kids will
love!
Make sure you have an adult help while making this.
Ingredients:
1 cup chopped pineapple (fresh or frozen)
1 cup fresh strawberries
1 carton (32 oz) low-fat yogurt (flavor of your choice- we recommend
strawberry or vanilla flavor)
1 large banana sliced
2 Tbsp powdered sugar
Tools:
Blender
Large bowl
Spoon
Muffin pan
12 paper muffin cups
Freezer
What to do:
1.Have an adult help you chop the pineapple
and slice the banana
2.Also have an adult help you blend the strawberries in a blender
3.Spoon the strawberry puree into a large bowl
4.Add the pineapple, yogurt, banana, and powdered sugar to the
bowl
5.Mix well with a spoon
6.Place the muffin cups in the muffin pan
7.Spoon 1/3 cup of fruit and yogurt mixture into each muffin cup
8.Place in freezer until frozen
9.Remove cups from freezer and let them sit for 10 minutes before
eating.
