A healthy dip that if fun to make and delicious
to eat! Make sure you have an adult help while making this.
Ingredients:
2 Ripe Avocados (soft to touch)
1 cup pre-made Salsa
Lime juice, just a squeeze
Baked Pita Chips
Tools:
Knife
Cutting Board
Bowl
Spoon
What to do:
- Wash the skins of the avocado in running water
- On a cutting board have an adult help you cut
the avocados in half to remove the pit and skin
- Wash your hands
- Place peeled avocado in the bowl and use your
fingers or a spoon to smash them until the texture is creamy
- Add the salsa and mix again with a spoon
- Squeeze on a little lime juice
- Dip pita chips and enjoy with friends and family!
This dip is also good with trans-fat free tortilla
chips or it can be a good spread for a vegetable or turkey sandwich.
If you want to spice it up a bit, use Medium or Hot flavored salsa!
