A delicious and healthy way to prepare
fall beets!
Make sure you have an adult help while
making this.
Ingredients:
3-4 beets
1 red onion
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
Tools:
Knife
Cutting board
Casserole dish
Oven
What to do:
1.Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
2.Have an adult help you cut the beets and onion into
wedges.
3.Place the beets and onions into the casserole dish
and distribute them evenly on the bottom of the dish.
4.Drizzle olive oil on top.
5.Sprinkle salt and pepper on top.
6.Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the
beets can be easily cut with a fork.
7.Enjoy as a vegetable side with rice or use in a
salad.
